Mist

Mist is my take on a full-size keyboard, carrying over the best features from my previous build, Hermod. This UDB version separates the USB-C and protection circuitry onto a Unified Daughter Board, giving me more freedom in the case design while keeping the board functionally identical to the original Mist.

I built Mist because I’m now often typing one-handed while holding a kid, and my split board wasn’t cutting it. I wanted something full-size that non-split users would love, while keeping the features I enjoyed most: thumb clusters, a 2.2" LCD display, per-key RGB, macro-focused keys, and support for both low-profile and MX switches. Mist is designed to be practical, powerful, and fun to use.

Mist is fully open source, and I hope to eventually offer a small production run or group buy once the design is finalized. In the meantime, if you’d like to support the project and help make that run possible, donations are greatly appreciated!
